Privacy policy
Last updated 11 October 2026
This policy covers the report shop at kaaljyoti.com/reports, run by GoAppsters Private Limited. It is separate from the privacy policies of the Kaal Jyoti app and the Kaal Jyoti API.
The short version. Your birth details are not kept in our database. They are used to prepare your report and exist only inside the report PDF, which we delete from our servers 7 days after you pay (or after one day if you do not), and in the copy we e-mail you, which is yours to keep.
1. Who we are
GoAppsters Private Limited (CIN U74999DL2018PTC333768), A-1601, Tower 2, NX One, Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh 201306, India, is the data fiduciary for the details you give the shop.
2. What we collect, and why
- Birth details (date, time and place of birth, and a name if you give one): sent once to the Kaal Jyoti engine to prepare your report. They are not written to our database or to our application logs. They exist inside the report PDF and the e-mailed copy (section 4). While you type the place of birth, the place name is looked up (section 5), and like any web address it can appear in access logs, which are deleted within 30 days.
- Your e-mail address: to send you the report and the invoice, and to find your report again if you ask.
- Your name for the invoice and your phone number, if you give them: printed on the GST invoice, and passed to Razorpay to fill in the payment form.
- Your state, or your country outside India: GST law needs it to work out the tax on the invoice.
- The order: which report, the language, the price, the payment reference from Razorpay, the invoice number, and when it was made, paid and delivered.
- Which advertisement or link brought you, if the address you arrived at said so (for example
utm_source): to know which advertising works. We also count visits to the shop by that tag and the page they began on, as a number per day, with nothing that identifies you and no cookie.
3. Unfinished orders and marketing e-mail
When you fill in the form, an order is created before you pay, so that you can see your report first. If you do not pay, we keep that order record (your e-mail and the details in section 2, never your birth details) so that our figures are right and so that you can come back to it.
We send you a reminder about an unfinished order, or occasional offers, only if you ticked the box asking for them on the form. Every such e-mail has a link to stop them, and you can also write to us. Without that box ticked we write to you only about an order you paid for.
Early access to astrologer sessions
If you join early access, we keep your name, e-mail, phone number if you give it, and the question you would like to ask, with the offer we promised you. We use them only to tell you when sessions open and to keep that offer. Write to us at any time to be removed.
4. Your report PDF
- An unpaid report is deleted automatically after one day.
- A paid report is kept for 7 days after payment, so that you can download it again, then deleted automatically.
- Before you pay, only the cover and one page of it ever reach your browser.
- The report is attached to the e-mail we send you through Resend. That copy is yours, and we cannot delete it from your mailbox; Resend keeps its own record of sent mail for a limited time under its terms.
5. Who else receives your details
- The place search: while you type the place of birth, what you type is looked up in the Kaal Jyoti engine’s own list of towns. Only if it finds nothing (a small village, say) is the text sent from your browser to Photon, a public place search run by komoot GmbH (Germany) on OpenStreetMap data. Only the text you type is sent.
- Razorpay takes the payment. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Resend sends our e-mail, from its Tokyo (Japan) region.
- Cloudflare serves the website, checks that a form is sent by a person (Turnstile), and stores the report PDFs and the invoices in private storage in Asia-Pacific. It also counts visits to our pages (Cloudflare Web Analytics): which pages are viewed, roughly from where and on what kind of device. It sets no cookie, does not identify you, and needs no permission.
- Supabase holds the order records, in Mumbai, India.
- Google Analytics counts visits to these pages, only if you allow it in the cookie notice. It is set up not to receive your birth details or your e-mail address, and the address of your order page is sent with its order code removed.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only if you allow it, so we can see which of our ads lead to purchases. Its pixel runs on our report and information pages, never on your order page, and is set up not to read our forms. When you order and pay, our server tells Meta which report you bought, its price and the order number, with Meta’s own browser identifiers and your browser type. Meta never receives your birth details, your e-mail address, your phone number or your name from us.
We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone else except where the law requires it.
6. Cookies
On your first visit a notice asks whether you allow analytics and advertising cookies. Google Analytics and Meta’s pixel load only if you choose Allow; with No thanks they never load and we report nothing to Meta. Your choice is kept in your own browser (and, with Allow, in a small cookie that tells our server it may report your purchase to Meta); clear your browser’s site data to be asked again. Cloudflare’s bot check on our forms sets a cookie it needs to work. The shop sets no other cookie for visitors; the admin pages, used only by our staff, set a sign-in cookie.
Your form details, on your own device. So that you do not have to type them again, what you enter in the report form or a free check (birth details, e-mail, name, phone and state) is kept in your own browser for 30 days. It stays on your device: it is not sent to us until you press the button, and it is never stored in our database. Press Clear it on the form, or clear your browser’s site data, to remove it. On a shared computer, use a private window.
7. How long we keep things
- Birth details: not in our database; only inside the report PDF, for the times in section 4.
- Paid orders and GST invoices: eight years, because Indian tax and company law require it.
- Unfinished orders: until you ask us to delete them.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you, to stop marketing e-mail, or to nominate someone to act for you, as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 provides. Invoices we must keep by law cannot be deleted before their time. Write to reports@kaaljyoti.com. If you are not satisfied, write to our Grievance Officer, Amit Verma, at support@goappsters.in; you may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Reports about other people
You must be 18 or older to order. Before ordering a report about someone else you confirm, by ticking the box on the form, that you have their permission to share their birth details with us, or, for a child, that you are their parent or guardian.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
